My Plans For Thor's Hammer Mjölnir! (Health Based)

Hi Exiles,

NEWLY ADDED INFORMATION:
With further look into the tree I can see that some points goes to waste sometimes and this build can be done on Marauder/Templar depending on if you want 40% mana regeneration as Templar or 16 base life and 16% armour as Marauder

I just put a skill tree together really quick to see which class would be the best choice and choose Templar, of course.

Templar is the split between strength and intelligence so Templar is obviously the strongest.

Also this build is gonna be focused around getting as much lightning damage as possible, without getting too squeeze.

Bandits: Oak - Skill - Skill/Oak

6L Chest:
Lightning Strike - Multistrike - Blood Magic - Faster Attacks - Weapon Elemental Damage - GMP

4L Helmet/Boots/Gloves:
Reduced Mana - Determination - Wrath - 20% Tempest Shield (15% Lightning Damage)

4L Helmet/Boots/Gloves:
Cast When Damage Taken - Enduring Cry - Molten Shell - Enfeeble

4L Helmet/Boots/Gloves:
Some type of single-target. Heavy Strike maybe

3L Mjölnir:
Iron Will - Arc - Vaal Arc

3L Shield:
Leap Slam - Faster Attacks - Blood Magic

I've been brain storming a build for this as well, haven't gotten anywhere I'm happy with yet.

The one thing I will say; I don't think it will proc 2 arcs at the same time. I was contemplating LS or Shock nova (I realize this won't chain, but as far as the Thor role play build goes, it is so perfect)

I'm not sure there's any reason to assume that it wouldn't proc 2 arcs at the same time. CoC procced identical spells until they specifically changed it not to after people were using 4 EKs. I think we should assume it will proc duplicates until proven otherwise.

I'm thinking about either double arc or double discharge (w/ romiras and RT) for mine. Excited to see what other people come up with since I've not found a build I'm completely happy with either.

If i was to make a build for this it'd probs be



Chest - Lightning strike - multi - cast on crit - stormcall - faster attacks - weapon elemental/GMP

Mjölnir - IW - Arc - Arc (if that works if not spark)

rest would be typical cast when dmg taken setup and auras

would probs need astra ammy, meg belt + a str ring

The tree can be made a little bit more efficient. For example you take 8% lightning nodes when you can take 10% spell damage nodes. Also you're wasting that point on catalyze, your damage will come from spells, you might as well take the str nodes instead.
EDIT: I checked it even more, This will be the best build for this:

It has 10 more int and 20 more dex. Considering you don't go resolute I took the accurace/reduced cost nodes in marauder cause you need to actually hit things to trigger casts. It has a bit more spell damage (just 8%) but it has 20% shock chance!
Also I'm pretty sure that it doesn't cast same spells. If it turns out it actually doesn't just replace one arc with lightning penetration or elemental proliferation.
Also for the links in your 6l, replace Weapon elemental for additional accuracy. Also with my tree i'd replace wrath with purity of lightning. It might be viable to also take the max res lightning nodes in marauder area for even more reflect protection.

I don't have a problem with you promoting your post on my post because your build is very interesting but not cheap at all. But also your build is a standard/hardcore only since you are using legacy items.

yup it is legacy only.. but im gonna make another life based that will be cheaper
