SweetFX SHADER for PoE - Updated 2014 (Working)

Oh for crying out, there are different "profiles" as i mentioned.
Did you even read the post, if its too much sharpening then go for a profile with less, im trying to help here with washed out graphics jeez.

I just wanted to inform you all that if you receive a "Failed resetting Direct3D device objects" one solution may be to delete your production_Config.ini file located in the following: C:\Users\<Yourname>\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile


For steam users, just validate and returned.

For non-steam users, I am not quite sure. I would try and look at the launcher for a validate button. (I have not used this so locate a way to validate before you delete the file)


Also if your game crashes when switching from or to windowed one solution would be to open the production_Config.ini file (notepad will suffice) there you will find this

"

borderless_windowed_fullscreen=
fullscreen=

But only with true or false behind the =
If you are switching to fullscreen from windowed mode it will have to look like this

"

borderless_windowed_fullscreen=false
fullscreen=true

And if you are switching from fullscreen to windowed mode it will look like this

"

borderless_windowed_fullscreen=true
fullscreen=false

And for all the foolish comments in this post.. Please think twice before posting replies.. I understand Exurok's frustration when people are judging one out of many profiles.. As you can see in step 6 (I added some underlines for you to notice it even more if you did not notice it before..

He clearly says there are more and he also supplies a link to the one he currently uses. In creating this forum thread he intended to give people the option to try this out without having to look far. If you only think of idiotic things then just do not post anything.

I felt I needed to make these steps below for anyone else posting so that my friend Exurok are not required to spend so much time going through troll posts:

1. Read through the main post closely.

2. Think about your post.

3. It is possible to be polite even though you did not like it.

4. Instead of just raging and being idiotic in the thread if you received an error or it did not work just simply say so and if possible say what you did and/or what happens when you launch the game and people will try and help you.

And thus concludes the 4 steps of common sense.


I hoped this post enlightened you and/or helped you with your problems.
