Galvanic Hammer access for RT Templars
Galvanic Hammer is a very nice Notable, useful for most Templars. However, it's access is "blocked" for Resolute Technique Templars with 3 of the 4 skills leading up to it giving useless stats (crit multiplier and accuracy).
Would it be possible to make it more accessible by creating a bridge from the intelligence node above the cluster to the Mace Damage skill before Galvanic Hammer (similar to the split access to the Bone Smasher skill near the Templar starting area)? " Price of resolute technic I guess. This claster gives accuracy too. Notables inside claster are just incentive to take one claster over another. Not saying that there is no bridges near bone crasher from marauder side and it is far weaker then galvanic hammer. |

I want to like Galvanic Hammer, I truly do. It's a notable that isn't just fat damage or the even lamer mild damage with a +20 attribute stat.

I remember seeing that node a long time ago and I really do want to like it as well, but the fact is that all those nodes leading up to it make the elemental damage kinda meh in comparison to many other things.
I would at least change the physical damage nodes a bit that lead up to it. There are other places to get that elemental damage or better places to spend the points. |

If you want to go elemental dmg, is probably better to look at the three clusters with a total of 110% elemental weapon dmg. At one of them near the templar area their are also are some other elemental dmg nodes for another 41%. It doesn't seem to be worth it to try to pickup other elemental nodes if you are going for weapon elemental, these three clusters are just so much better.

I love the critical multiplier, personally. It synergies really well with elemental damage.

I'd like to clarify that I'm not saying the passives leading up to Galvanic Hammer are bad. It's just that they don't cater to Resolute Technique users (In fact the critical strike multipliers are quite good, since those passives are quite rare - especially in this part of the skill tree).

It's probably working as intended, considering the prevalence of RT already, I doubt Qarl wishes to induce more use of it. It's technically still a fine passive to pick up with RT, you're just paying more points to get it. It's worth getting if you're already in the neighborhood to pick up other passives nearby. You shouldn't expect everything to have 100% efficiency with certain keystones.
