Vaal Pact should be changed again!

it's the tradition of the PoE devs to balance all mechanics around the few people abusing them

kind of like the opposite of how games with a high standard of balance approach it.

so if somebody is abusing mana, expect to see a blanket nerf to mana for all people who use mana.

if somebody is abusing leech, expect to see a blanket nerf to leech for all people who use it.

if somebody is wearing koams, expect to see a blanket nerf to life for all players (this basically happened)

etc.

this is just how they approach it. you won't see any balance improvement until GGG refactors and modernizes their approach to balance...which, considering how arrogant and close-lipped they seem to be about such matters, is extremely unlikely.

MK3-My thoughts pretty much as solutions,and i don't like any of those :P

Veruski-I think the Devs have overall good intentions,but sometimes -at least it seems to me- not correct ways handling things.Especially when it comes down to balance they make huge mistakes,that eventually correct,after sometime.As you said,hp was nerfed mainly due to kaoms,but it got buffed back.Es was screwd(and it was so obvious,since life with release got buffed so much and ES stayed nerfed),and tey fixed it as well.the biggest fail was with cast when damage taken,where it was painfully obvious to everyone,but their balancing team,from the first look at the gem,that you should link every defensive shit you got on it,and never level it.So i do beleive that after these 4 month leagues VP will get a buff as well,and well,these new gloves,i dunno.Probably will go legacy
