E_OUTOFMEMORY Ran out of memory error with name of file erroring out (January 30, 2013)

I have crashed at least 20 times (no kidding) in the "Forest Encampment". I have been stuck for days trying to get past the first map on either side of the camp.

Update:
It happened again after less than 5 minutes of play. I cannot even play anymore.

Update 3:

I went north since I continue to crash every five minutes going to the map south of the camp in Act 2. I went north and was able to play for about 15 minutes then I got the error below:
"Art/Textures/Environment/forest/dryroadtopns.dds": In source code file: Resourc\TextureResoruce.cpp at line 37,
Processing file: Art/Textures/Environment/forest/dryroadtopns.dds
Error: E_OUTOFMEMORY
Description: Ran out of memory"
I'm having the same problem, at least similar. :T

I have pretty much the same issues since I am in act 2. As per my observation seems to be something related to ATI.
I have ATI and i get simillar errors... Cant really play anymore.

only in act three for me
only got these errors during transition from one loc to another, and not every location, it was for me only crossroads & temple, then camp & rivers crossing and lastly it was rivers crossing & dark forrest, and this is where my story ends, i cant get further then that, and i too believe that it must have something to do with ati cards, or drivers, i dont know, but its weird, hope theyll fix something, cause anything ANYTHING in my PC runs OK, so its only this game, sadly
change ur texture settings to medium, did that and went in to dark forrest with no problem and went even further without a glitch so all who have this problem should try this, its really not that different as overall looks are compared to high setting, its almost the same, but one thing for sure, u can continue ur adventures :)
Just out of curiosity...if you are all using ATI cards are you all on Driver ver 13.1?
I've been running the game for a year on an ATI card and had no problems so far but i'm still sitting on the 12.something driver

so u have no problems with older version of drivers, yes im using new ones, BUT i dont care man, thats not my problem, problem is still with the game, i update my drivers regulary, thats ur mess that ure not doing so, and evenly so u could have problems because of older drivers, its mostly recommended to stick by the newest possible to achieve the best performance without issues, but in this case is other way around, its the oldest the best, im not playin on ATI that long, was playing before on a GFORCE 8800, upgraded, did play a bit on the 12.10 version drivers now with ATI and i did only get to like lvl 4, and then i waited for OB, now heres OB, 1 ACT, was everything ok, even with the newest drivers, or did i update the drivers after i get in ACT II or before that i dont remember but what i remember that even with new drivers i played act II great nothing happend untill the last patch in game, i dont know but maybe ure right and its the drivers, but as i was telling above, im used to upgrade to the newest drivers every time, because of the problems i had before i was doing so, textures missing and laggs and stuttering and stuff, and had enough of that and decided that i should always upgrade to the newest drivers, so i think there are two ways of solving this either AMD will get out newer drivers or updated version of these new drivers for PoE, which is unlikely although could happen, OR GGG should do something about this problem (sorry for the long text, just wanted to be as clear as possible, hope i just did that)
