Reduced Mana gem

So I have a 0% quality Reduced mana gem at lvl 19, and I also have a 12% quality reduced mana gem at lvl 19 that says 6% reduced mana cost, but doesn't seem to reduce the cost of the aura any more than the 0% one? Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

The quality-bonus will only work on mana cost of skills you cast. These have no effect on reserved mana. So: everything is working as intended with your two gems.

So basically it's only reducing the mana cost of the aura when cast? Bit pointless! Thanks for clearing that up.

Yup. Thing is, Auras don't have a Mana Cost, so the reduced cost you get from Quality doesn't do anything for them.
