[3.1] GLADIATOR 1H+Shield Max Block&Spell Block Tank + a BoR version

Can you give me a skill tree but using a legacy soul taker, legacy bor, and legacy aegis? the only difference from this build and the one i used a long time ago is that i use soul taker. is there a soul taker version you can post up as well?

Tried the new Infernal Blow + Melee Splash + Multistrike + WED on a BoR axe variation. Does not seem as strong as Ice crash at the moment even with buffs.

For AoE with lots of mobs IB is better, but for single target dmg somehow ice crash seems better.

Using 1.1 legacy BoR & 1.1 legacy Aegis

That's how it will always be for single-target, unfortunately. Ice crash will be more powerful.

Would you happen to know why ice crash is better at single target? Possibly the AOE rings hit multiple times?

Because a significant part of IB's clearspeed comes from corpse explosions, which is not present when using it on a single target. Also, ice crash hits harder per hit.

Thanks comrade for the explanation. Think I'll switch between the two for now :)
Think I might start this up for the new league with some of the buffs mentioned to this build plus I haven't done a melee build in quite some time.

Are any of the 3 skills "better" than the other? Also I see there is a leveling passive section, but I haven't done a melee build in awhile, do you just use whichever skill you want as you are leveling or is there a better method for leveling a melee build?

Thanks!
I have a question regarding a jewel I found.

This uses the term melee damage. I see in the wiki that Ice Crash is listed as dealing melee damage. I assume this jewel will apply to ice crash? It's a bit confusing with attack damage, physical damage, and melee damage all being separate.

Thanks!

I am enjoying this build so far in Talisman. Level 48 now and crushing.
