Warning on trading corrupt items.

So I've been scammed my first time with corrupt gears

someone acting like its normal gear and trading you corrupt useless crap.

can we get some kind of extra verification of corrupt items perhaps a giant C on the corrupted

items when in a trade screen to help prevent such scamming. Thanks.
Any betrayal you can see is trivial, What is truly frightening and much more lethal is the
betrayal you cannot see.

Tighten up your trading circle to only established friends and guildmates. There's a lot of dishonest folks out there.

Best of luck in future trading.

Also, contrary to some of the above posters, you're NOT a 'dumbass' for trusting people to not be scumbags.

I hate scammers more than the average person but there is no trick here. He just needs to look at the item that he is -required- to scroll over.

But there IS a trick here. The scammers switch the item they were promising. Required or not, the onus is on the people doing the trade to NOT pull a quick scumbag move on a trusting person.
someone says they will give me a dollar for a bottle of water

they hold out the dollar, I hold out the bottle of water

they say, whoops one sec, and put the dollar in their pocket

they then take out a ripped in half bright red dollar bill

they hold out the ripped in half red dollar bill, i hold out the water bottle

we agree to exchange these items after looking at them and agreeing 100% that this is the trade we wanted to do.

the items are exchanged
