Which spells would be good for a "fun" build spellcasting templar?

Well, basically exactly what the topic says.

I'm new here and want to know which spells would be potentially fun to use as a templar.

I don't personally find normal attacks fun, but I don't like pwning everything easily either. I like a mix of challenging gameplay and non-challenging gameplay.

With that in mind, please suggest good spells which aren't overpowered yet not weak, which would be good for a "fun" build.

@Edit: Oh, also, what would you consider a good passive tree with this build in mind? For low levels, mid and high please. I want to know more or less which passives to get, and in which order.

If you think you would have fun playing with Storm call:

It basically requires nothing to start with, but can benefit a lot from upgrades (If you want to buy some pieces later)

It was the build I used for leveling, when Ambush - leageu started and it kept me with all the Spectral Throwers and stuff. And no, Storm call is not considered OP, it needs you to do something.
I've been running with 3 attack spells while I'm leveling, just to give me a mix of all 3 elements.. so I use Ice Nova, Storm Call and Flameblast.. this will probably change to just 2 attack spells as I get higher level and want to give more support to my spells and use other utility type spells as well. But so far it's been a very fun combo, for me!
I've played a lot of different Templars and ditched some powerful ones because I didn't find them enjoyable enough. Here are the ones I found the most rewarding:

Searing Bond - I actually enjoyed this thoroughly. It's OP early, but falls off late, so it's not really cheating ;-). This was my main character in Domination. Searing Bond has a lot of placement, positioning and micro-management when going dual totems. I find the single-totem variant (just using it to level another character) quite boring though.

Flameblast - Flameblast also involves a lot of strategic positioning since you're trying to manage channel time and target coverage, while sometimes trying to avoid specific targets, etc. Big explosions are also manly and rewarding. However, given how hard I hold down the mouse when channeling, I put this guy on ice to avoid giving myself RSI.

Arc - I'm currently enjoying Arc. I read a guide that said "You can aim it anywhere you want. You can aim it at your grandmother." That made me laugh. I routinely aim at my grandmother and it still works. I like how it chains, hooking targets around walls, etc. I would recommend this, although it has less micro. I just find the spell entertaining.

Glacial Cascade looks fun too. That's next on the list. I would imagine Detonate Dead is also micro-heavy and probably fun, but I haven't done that one yet. One day, I will make an offensive Lightning Warp build. One day. This wasn't a Templar, but could be: Elemental Aura-based Animate Weapon is super fun. Although I didn't like having to use inventory space for "ammo," the actual fighting was entertaining. Imagine a cloud of assorted tri-elemental, multi-striking white weapons hacking away at everything. It's like Hunter S. Thompson's version of the Sorceror's Apprentice crossed with a slasher flick.

[Edit for clarification: I love my grandmother dearly. She lives about an hour away. I know the general direction, so I just sort of point it towards Pennsylvania.]
