Local vs Global stats

I know what they mean, but how do you differentiate just by looking at an item.
for example:
126% increase damage is local
while in same weapon add cold/phys dmg/ accuracy are global right?

lets look at another item

except 76% evasion rating, rest are definitely global. So, is 76% global or local?

most stats are obvious enough, like attack speed/added dmg/all res/life stats/leech etc on non weapon items are always global. Added gem level is usually local.

But my question is for % evasion/ES/armor etc on gloves/shield/chest/helm are local & is already added in that gear to show the higher value or its in addition to whatever stats are already on gear?

& how do you differentiate between global/local stats.

please don't post wiki/poe links to affix/prefix. already read them.
Usually everything on weapons and armor local unless stated otherwise( mod saying it is global. There are few exceptions though). And mods on other items are usually always global.

Added cold/phys are local and accuracy is always global no matter where it is

You can think of it like this and you'll usually be right: mods that influence a particular stat on the white version of a piece of gear are local. Weapon physical damage is local. Added elemental is local on weapons, global to attacks on rings. Increased elemental % is global because the weapon doesn't necessarily have elemental damage. The %defense nodes are local.
so if i want to buy armor with 500 energy shield. which says 110% increased ES just applies to that item & doesnt multiply to my base energy shield?

so as long as total energy shield on armor equals to 500, whether with 80% increased es + prefix of ES OR with 110% increased ES, both are same. except latter one will have 1 extra prefix due to not spent on added ES

sorry the way i said is confusing.
& thanks for clearing the points so far guys!

you are awesome!!

A handy tip - the evasion rating on the item is blue - this signifies it's a modified value that's taking into account a local stat on the item. Global stats can't cause that.

In general, something that modifies the base stats of an item (damage/attack speed for weapons, defences for armour) would be local on that item type.

Thx Mark, that is a very useful tip & applies to almost every item in game.
