Agreed Gravion, but there's been a few really cool people get their keys via this method. It works well, generally the cool people get voted in properly and the trolls *are in the process* of getting weeded out. No method is perfect, this is just another way to organize key distribution for people who just don't know what to do with their keys =)

If Taric, who is extremely cool and awesome, was the first one to get a key from this thread, and the subsequently deposited HIS friend key back into this thread...I would say it is incredibly worthwhile.

There are plenty of places to post on the forums to be helpful and whatnot. Don't forget that suspicious people can have their posts checked quite easily. I'd rather not grant a key to someone who spams crab pictures :P

When this thread was first created by Gotti it was incredibly beneficial for many of us who are active and helpful on the forums. We knew who the legit people were and we knew who the trolls were. Once a few of us received keys we in turn gave our friend keys back to the list we voted on.

Quickly this thread became one of the fastest ways to receive a key and others noticed. I have been keeping an eye on this thread as I was one of the original posters on it and returned my friend key back to Gotti. I can definitely say it has gotten abused. Simply people are getting there friends to recommend them because they are "cool" or "friends from Diablo." I don't think this was the original intent of the thread. It was meant for a way to recognize the people that were consistently helpful and positive to others on this forum.

I would simply ask if you are a beta member wanting to give your friend key back to this thread PLEASE look at the persons previous posts before handing it out.
