That wasn't the argument I was responding to. I was responding to a claim that GGG doesn't state everything to a T, thus it must be player's fault for unforeseen consequences.

But I'll entertain your argument too. GGG didn't state that items you sell to a vendor are permanently gone, and there is no way to buy back. Must be GGG's fault that I just sold my 6L chest for a Divine Orb and now I want my 6L chest back.

There are many decisions in this game that are permanent. Vaal Orbs' corruption mechanic just happens to be one of them. Live with it.

Not inside the game. Requiring your players to read the forum or an external wiki in order to have access to essential gameplay information is problematic.
