Character appearance

Will there ever be like cosmetics to change your characters appearance ? i like the idea of having my own character look.

No official word yet but I guess we will see some customization. Also it's been said the we will probably see female and male versions of classes in the cosmetic shop

I bought several of the weapon effects, but I would really like armor effects. Not really liking the helm effects though. Maybe glowing armor, costumes (robes, hoods, helmets, etc). A certain f2p mmo had purchasable wooden beer kegs that you could wear on your back, those were pretty cool. I'm sure some of these things will be added down the line.

I wouldn't mind paying for some pants, my Witch have been running around in a torn skirt since lvl 1. :)

The skill effects we currently have represent about 6 months of work the developers did to get them in the game. They are working on additional things to be available but...
They seem to be working on content. Stability. and keeping the servers running. On a free to play game. They are putting the FREE part of the game first. As in before the stuff they make money on, just so people will enjoy the FREE game. When they get caught up, the extremely SMALL under 20 people team will work to get as much cosmetic stuff in as they can, but it takes time and right now they just don't have much of it. Maybe they can delay the rest of act 3 and act 4 ... just so everyone asking for cosmetics and bitching about what is available in the store now, have more options to buy. They are putting themselves last and the FREE content first. Says a lot to me. It's why i give over 12 hours of my day trying to help on the forums and in global chat. They are great people and this game will eventually get everything people want in it. Be patient and let GGG work. Stop complaining so much. Enjoy the game.
