Cleave not working now

Hi all, i have been using Cleave in my One Handed Sword for ages but after i took it out to place in a new sword it says "skill can't be used" i have tried in other Axes and other Swords but every weapon i try it says the same thing, i have tried other 4 other Cleave gems i have but non work.

Make sure that it is a sword, and that you haven't equipped the second weapon set by accident.

Hello, ah i have just unequiped my other weapon (The other weapon was a brown item mace, i know Cleave will not work in a mace) and now Cleave works it seems that there is a conflict between the two items as the Cleave works with my sword and any other Mace, Sword or Axe combo, perhaps it a game bug thanks for your reply.

It isn't a bug, if you got two weapons equipped cleave tries to strike with both, as it's the other one of two skills that can do that. So I'm afraid both weapons must be compatible or you won't be able to use it.

Yeah, sword + shield in offhand works, but sword and dagger in offhand doesn't, makes no sense, but that's the way it was always. Probably a coding issue or something, the other skill that strikes with both weapons can be used with any weapon so it isn't a problem there.

Ok thank you now i know, ah well never mind. Can you tell me what's the other skill that strikes with both weapons that works.
