noticed the same thing.
catacombs are unplayable for me at the moment. fps drops from 200 to 0; sometimes it let the whole pc crash. ign: oberarmklaus

I can confirm this as well. Zero problems anywhere else in the game but Catacombs just has huge fps loss for me. Goes from my stable 60ish down to like 24. Very annoying.

area should be renamed to "frozen chambers", would also coincide with the main source of damage in this area.
