Ancestral Bond and Tempest Shield

Hey all! I was hoping to get some clarification regarding the two skills Ancestral Bond and tempest shield...

Does having AB cancel the damage of Tempest shield? (you arent really activating a skill when you are hit..)

Does it still give the block % chance? Thanks and let me know!

It will still give block chance, it won't deal damage unfortunately.

Things that will deal damage with AB include : traps, poison cloud from poison arrow and minions.
