No Change when Corrupting Summon Skeleton Skill gem

i used a vaal orb on a summon skeletons skill gem and nothing changed...i have a screen shot and reference number but dont have it uploaded anywhere to post it here... the gem says "corupted" on it but no changes were made

One of the possible outcomes to using a Vaal Orb is - no change. It's quite common that a Vaal Orb does nothing at all but corrupt the item.

no where on this link does it say or IMPLY that a vaal orb will do nothing, in fact it says it corrupts an item, MODIFYING it unpredictably...

can I get a confirmation on this, I have used a vaal orb on a summon skeleton gem and received the same result; says corrupted but no change

" Simply "corrupted" is not nothing. Clearly the gem has been modified when you have corrupted it (even though there are no other changes). You can't use currencies on it anymore like you can on a gem that isn't corrupted. Last edited by Ezhiel#3677 on Mar 14, 2014, 3:59:14 AM

so adding "Corrupted" to the skill gem is consider an accept possible outcome of using a vaal orb on a skill gem? I really hope this isn't the case and that a moderator or developer gets ahold of me sometime here soon...

" This is not a bug. For every item that gets corrupted by a Vaal Orb, there is a good chance that the gem will not change except for being corrupted. This happens to weapons, armor, jewelry, maps, and skill gems. Corruption is supposed to be RNG-based, but unpredictable. It doesn't do the same thing every time like other orbs. IGN: ThrobbinRobin
