No sound driver detected

Can't get sound to work at all. Using Razer USB headphones and Synapse 2.0 (everything is up to date).

I got this now as well since the latest patch, haven't had any problems before. Sound works everywhere else but not in PoE. I've restarted game and computer but still the same issue :/

I use standalone client.

ya i'm having the same problem too and i'm just using my razer kraken headset i got for christmas. please find a way to fix this cuz i would love to actually hear the game well i'm playing it.

So i had the same problem tried what everyone recommended.

i found a quick fix that works for me, i think you will need to have speakers or another audio driver that is not the razer chromo 7.1


This is what i used VAC (VIRTUAL AUDIO CABLE)

Basically from here alls i did was open up the Audio Repeater that comes with VAC set

1 Audio Repeater Settings
Wave in |VAC Line 1| Virtual Audio Cable Line 1
Wave out |Output Audio| Being speakers or whatever you are using

2nd Audio Repeater Settings
Wave in |Headset| Kraken Chroma 7.1
Wave Out |VAC Line 1| Virtual Audio Cable Line 1

srsly doubt all this "this works and this works" ... when i reopen the game 10 times i have 2-5 times sound the other times i dont have ... so it most something be wrong with the launcher that doesnt start up the audio device

All I had to do to fix my "no sound drivers dectected" was reboot my pc.

This just happened to me as well -_-

Right click POE icon > Run as administrator

fixed

I also get no sound every single time unless I force the game to run as admin

Same problem (No sound device detected) with Realtek OnBoard Sound from my Asus z97-k board since patch.

--Softwareaudio does not work
reboot my PC does not work
start as admin does not work

And I realy see no reason, why it should be a problem of my PC/Config as all other Games/Software work without any problems!

Whoa, this just happened to me right now! When I opened the game and heard no rain, I knew something wasn't right. I fixed it by closing the game and re-opening it.
