best support gem for ST?

hello, i am going 5L ST physical 2H sowrd build,

and I was wondering what 4 supported gem should i use?


ST-BloodMagic-lmp-?-?

some told me faster attack-added fire
but isn't phys projectile dmg better than added fire dmg?

Physical projectile damage isn't strictly better since it has a -10% attack speed penalty. They're about equal when it comes to DPS increase, but I've tested both in a 5 link and added fire comes out slightly on top. You should see what is better for you though.

I prefer:

Spectral Throw + LMP + Added Fire Damage + Faster Projectiles

(never had a 5L to use with ST) because of the extra range from Faster Projectiles. You will need to keep an eye out for nasty off-screen mobs though. With a 5L I'd add Faster Attacks, Blind, Life Leech or Mana Leech (depending on gearing, passives and what was needed at the time).

Personally I like Physical Projectile Damage better, Because way to many mobs have elemental resists. Also if you are using Vaal Pact it will help you leech more. But this is just my opinion.

Obviously Slower Projectiles and Knockback so your staves chainsaw through and do 20 hits a cast.
