Metered Data and Latency Questions

Hi,

I'm really wanting to play this game but I have a couple questions.

I'm on a satellite internet which is metered. So I'm wondering how much data is generated per hour of gameplay? and also if the latency would be to much of an issue (I'm not to interested in PvP)

depends on your type of satellite connection, if you only get your data over sattelite and send your data over a phone line (1 way connection) your latency would be bad but bearable.

if you have a 2 way satellite connection (upload/download over satellite) i doubt that you will have a satisfying gaming experience with a latency of 2*300ms (back and forth).

but sure it's worth a try if your metered internet access can handle the ~4 GB download of the game client files.
don't know about the game's actual data exchange rate between server and client though, have to find out later.
