Any Xfire or Evolve users?

Just in-case you might not be familiar with either program, their both instant-messengers, built specifically for gaming. The most notable feature of both is to be able to chat to others, from inside the game without minimizing (similar to Steam if you've used it)

Another notable feature of Xfire and Evolve is, they track the game your playing and record how long you've played it. It also lets your friends know what game your playing too.

Path of Exile at this current time, is not supported by either Xfire, or Evolve sadly. But, what if it could be?

Well, to any users of Xfire or Evolve, I can help out with that :), I happen to be a Xfire Game Master (profile), and I happen to know how to do game support for Evolve too (profile). I could most likely get support for this game immediately, but the thing is, I don't have beta access :(

So what is my proposition (in-case it wasn't clearly visible in the last paragraph)? I guarantee if I was given a beta key, you'll see Xfire and (most likely) Evolve support within a week or two (at the latest).

Also, feel free to add me on either Xfire or Evolve if you use it :)

Edit: Got my key already :D, so no need to send any, I'll get some Xfire and Evolve support right away now :)

As for some progress:

- 9/18: Submitted game definitions to Xfire and Evolve
- 9/19: Got another XFGM to endorse my code; will present code later today at meeting
- 9/19: Xfire code was passed, should be in next update :) (predicted on 9/23)
- 9/20: Evolve may have Path of Exile support within a few days (or even tonight) :)
- 9/23: I hear Xfire games definition update won't be out for a while due to unforeseen events... but when it's released, PoE will be included
- 9/26: Path of Exile support went live with Evolve :)
- 9/28: Got kicked off the XFGM team for helping with Evolve support (Xfire doesn't like a little friendly competition it would seem)... but the Xfire Update should contain PoE still, so no worries there
- 10/1: Path of Exile support went live with Xfire :) (Screenshots, Video Recording, and Broadcasting is disabled)

That'll pretty much conclude this update list :p, Happy Gaming all!

We have to many dying, cancer ridden players that are going to die next month if they don't get in the beta.

Not sure if anyone has been following the progress report or not, but as of right now, both Evolve and Xfire support Path of Exile :)

If you have Helix tier, I might recommend giving it a try :) If your not Helix tier, no worries; you can either go grab Helix here, or just wait until GDC and try out a free week of it.

Also a good bit of other news, such as a new overlay revamp, another employee, and etc.

Umm.. Xfire IS supporting PoE.

I've been running PoE from Xfire since closed beta.
