Corrupted Area Spawns
"I have a feeling that there is some modifier to the chance of finding corrupted area which decreases with each new inst of the same area you enter :) And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

" maybe -- I know I've made quite a few wetland runs and couldn't find anything. does it spawn on the near wall or the one with the other entrances in it? |

" I found it in the south west quadrant, with the alley leading to the north west. For years i searched for deep truths. A thousand revelations. At the very edge...the ability to think itself dissolves away.Thinking in human language is the problem. Any separation from 'the whole truth' is incomplete. My incomplete concepts may add to your 'whole truth', accept it or think about it

Here is some input from my testing against Ch'aska the Rain Maker.
Opening post states she does chaos damage, but all her attacks are pure physical. Her spike-throw and spike-RoA get mitigated quite well by evasion, armor and block. Her spike-firestorm however pierces through armor, does massive damage and apparently can't be evaded. I have not tested this with spellblock and have no reliable input on block against it. Each spike of the storm does about 2k dmg to unarmored characters, and at 25k armor it still does over 1k per spike, so there seems to be some kind of mechanic that makes armor-mitigation very ineffective. Immortal Call blocks all of her damage 100%, so if you can keep that going cosistantly I could imagine fighting her. After she dies, she leaves a nasty carpet of spikes that damages you massively as you stand/move on top of it. It stays for some amount of time, even if you move between zones. That stuff can kill you easily, especially if you are on low HP after the fight. More infromation can be found in the two videos I made while trying stuff against her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgb9ChCOhc0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2tcpuHHh2o Last edited by hscorpio#1323 on Mar 13, 2014, 12:37:11 AM

" Boss is named "Shadow of Vengeance", confirming those skills above in Normal difficulty, and confirming zone appears in Solaris Level One. Zone was inhabited by Plumed Chimerals, Aurete Warriors and Archers (the statues animate) Flame Sentinels, Galvanic Ribbons and the lesser Assault Ribbons, and Vaal Bone Wardens. The zone spawns with Golden Chests and Golden Pots galore. You can abuse elevation on the melee mobs fairly easily from the platforms. The Shadow was quite easy to kite-and-spam, had no energy shield, not many hit points, and cast no buffs or debuffs that I saw. A walk in the park for the ST Elemental/Blind Scion. The most difficult part was that atmospheric effects in the zone played merry hell with my framerate. |

" Not sure. While doing Fellshrine-Runs I got the covered up hollows every 3-4 runs. Which might be a bitter spot if you want to go there (I think Caverns 1, Den and Fellshrine have the same corrupted zone). Actually I noticed that open areas have a much higher chance of spawning corrupted areas in general. Finding Crypt 1/2 took me over 50 instances, and catacombs I haven't found yet in about the same amount of tries. Wetlands took me about 5 runs, Mud Flats the same. I encountered the Remote Gulch twice while leveling up in Cruel (I think it was in Climb and Prisoners Gate). |
