He did make it that far, no one cares if he is on the new leagues or not.

World first kills will ALL be on standard because of the nature of the league. Get used to that.

only the top first 50 kills of the new leagues get special micro-transaction reward. so no, nobody cares if you get the first kill in permanent leagues. maybe just excited to see what the expansion final boss fight looks like.

This is how I did it. The first time I saw a corrupted portal it was in the Archives and a map piece dropped. I thought this was cool and easy so exited the area and entered a new instance of the Archives but no corrupted area. So this meant they spawn similar to large chests, prety random.

So with my lvl 88 Mara I started from act 1 NORMAL and just leap slammed all across the maps from town to Mervil. Dosent take long if your not killing anything. In that time and bewteen the 8 or so zones I went through I found 2 corrupted areas which also dropped map pieces. I just did this all over again until I got all the map pieces. Takes very little time if you can spam a movement spell.

Once y6ou know where the corrupted areas spawn its easier. I remember the screenshoot teaser they posted before launch of the corrupted area in mad flats and it was by the water. To me it always seems to spawn there.
