Problem with Arc Build

Currently im trying to build up an Arc Witch.

Sadly im not very happy yet with it. as we all know Arc has a pretty high mana cost and the dmg isnt as good as other spells. yet still i like the lightning mechanic and the possibility to shoot far away enemys.

my problem at the moment is that i die pretty easy and i have constant mana issues.
I can shoot about 5-7 Arcs than i have to take a pot or wait for clarity to do its job.
at the moment i also cant activate Discipline else i can shoot like 1-2 Arcs.

maybe someone has an idea how it could Improve my lightning witch?

If you are having mana problems, I would take the increase critical gem out. Will save you a lot of headaches, and you can always put it in an empty socket to so that when you do have the mana to cast it, it's at the right level.

Replace your critical gem with reduced mana gem. Problem solved.
I feel like your build is very inefficient, I was planing on going templar or Shaodw, because of the early game tankyness for hardcore.

would use chain, added lightning damage, faster casting, and reduced mana on my arc. I would also either run another arc totem or a spark totem.
As for Auras I would use wrath clarity and Purity.
Just because no1 freaking answers to me in game...does wrath(and the rest of the elemental dmg auras like hatred etc) add damage to spells or do they work only on physical damage?

btw I am just lvl 21 but I am also going for a lightning witch build.
So far I am runing:
- sparks with fork which I later wanna add to a totem along with faster casting
- arc unsupported for now but I wnna run chain,lightning pen,faster cast and reduced mana.
- clarity
- I am looking for discipline in the future
- conductivity as soon as I get it
- and/or ele weakness if I decide to go for whispers of doom
- zombies as an easy meat shield till I buff my energy shield enough to figure out if I need at least 1 summoning spell(although I hate non unique summons like zombies skeletons and specters)

also using shock nova and freezing pulse and enfeeble at the moment but i don't see those making it to my final choices.

Those auras only work for attacks. Spells are not attacks in PoE, so none of them do anything for spells (the exception being Hatred working for EK - because it's physical dmg).

I see...thank u kind sir. So I made a lucky choice by choosing clarity over wrath recently :)
