Common Solo Cruel Boss Killers

I originally had it in mind to just create a character for the start of leagues that was battle hardy and able to do the whole farming thing safely, a tried and true build for merv farming and then piety farming.
However, I want to have a look at every avenue and was curious as to what kinds of builds are commonly used for those boss service kills people offer, for instance: Cruel Dominus/Piety, Normal Dominus. A lot of people say ST is the way to go, but we're not sure if that will be nerfed for 1.1.0, so I'm curious what the round up would be for what you've had experience with or seen other people running these boss service kills early league. Where they're able to reliably get the gear and DPS they need to offer a valuable service that doesn't take ages to churn out their kill. I would think the common answer would be ST, but would I be surprised on any other viable characters? Edit:: I do have a few other ideas in mind as I've been looking around the forums but, I'm just curious to crowd source some more intel if anyone wouldn't mind talking about their strategies. I'm relatively sure that we'll see many skill related changes for 1.1, so what works right now may not work in the new leagues. I think self-casting will get buffed, and I'd not be surprised if ST got toned down at low and mid levels (though it does tapper off later on, at least the 2H physical builds).
