Rebuke of the vaal and elemental hit

sync together as good as i think? or am i missing something. also something like
could add a bit of damage to the build. But in reality how well could something like this work out for end game?
If you're using elemental hit then going with a faster weapon is wise(something with 2+ APS) The boots offer less synergy than wake of destruction http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Wake_of_Destruction

I assume you plan to scale your elemental damage so chaos damage does nothing for you. For endgame using neither is probably the realistic choice since it's not worth the loss of defenses.
As I understand it, Elemental hit only works with the standard attack. You'd probably get more mileage out of an increased weapon elemental damage gem so it applies to your skills. Of course, you'd have to run the elemental weakness curse.

No, both the skill and the weapon are bad. The weapon's "ok" (its elemental damage is a meager 140 or so), but that skill needs serious work. Elemental melee users are at their strongest when they're fast, and there's no way your gonna be able to uphold the mana cost Elemental hit requires if your going for 5+ APS on a 5/6 link, especially not without EB or more than 1 aura on mana. Chaos damage is moot point in the game right now. It's obsolete entirely with rarely any buffs or supports and you'll never get any big damage boost to it.

Get yourself a tri-ele Rapier with at least 170 edps off poexyz, then just stack speed/crit/elemental damage increases from rings/passives. Spectral throw, double strike, and cyclone are great fast attacks that work well with elemental melee.

Elemental hit is a good skill, but its mana costs get pretty rough at high levels. It synergizes best with a fast weapon with no elemental damage and elemental equilibrium. It can also be hard to scale well since you have to focus on all three elements.

It isn't anymore. It costs over 2/3 as much as Dominating Blow and only does about 60% more damage than one of wrath or anger. If you try to use EE with it, you end up with pretty pitiful damage since you can't use other elemental sources and you sometimes fight against yourself.

199.66... average base damage and 32 mana per attack at level 20.

This just in: stacking as much of one mechanicc as possible is not intrinsically synergistic.

A faster weapon or more crit chance would synergize better with EH then rebuke. Conversely an attack with a high damage effectiveness or other multiplicative bonus(such as more attack speed via frenzy or concentrated effect with reave) would synergize better with Rebuke then EH.


As a rule, two things synergize well if they stack multiplicatively- two sources of additive bonuses have no real synergy to eachother.
