cant find any Regal Orbs?!
" Well I checked several 3rd party shops and the price for 1 exalted in standard is at least 1,7$. In Domination the price is 2-10 times higher. Wtf? its quite expensive, I cant believe that anybody would by exalted orbs for that much money. 50+$ for a stupid armor? Or 1000$ for a "great armor" ? Well some shops are offering the mirror in domination league for 1500€ ... sounds quite stupid for me...
" so regret = regal? |

Building wealth is a snowball effect in this game. Once you drop your first big ticket item, and you start understanding how the economics work, making a few exalts a day is easy.
When I started I also despaired of ever being to able to buy something good. Now I have about 300ex in gear and 100ex in currency. No RMT. no botting, no excessive flipping. Dear Maligaro,
I left my head in San Francisco, I lost my legs in Peru My liver and kidney are on holiday in Sydney And I am sending my Heart to you --- Love, Malachai |

" Price of 1.7 is probably a scam, but it doesn't matter. Botters are everywhere. Especially in the new leagues, where they have a really unfair advantage( situation in standard is a bit different) and prices of orbs they farm and items they craft are damn high. Believe me or not, there are players that buy them. Mirrors are sold at 450-650 like a bread whenever someone offer them in that price range. In any league. This is a buff © 2016

" Well, think about this: All exalted orbs you get by trading must be looted by someone. Lets assume that each player gets 1 exalted orb per 50-100hours /played If you get 10 Orbs in 5 hours, other players had to farm 500-1000 hours for these orbs. So where do these orbs come from? normal players? no... impossible. Bots, dupes, ... nothing else. That's why I think, that the economy is dead. I did begin in domination league to get a fresh eco, but I cant buy anything without using 3rd party shops.
What bots? Don't we have desync to make botting impossible (figuratively speaking)? Or was hacking? Does GGG track down and ban botters?
Shop closed until further notice. Check out my Dominus musical tribute instead:

" You found 2 exalteds in minutes and complain about not finding a regal? I bet theres people whos been playing since beta and never seen an exalt drop yet. By the way 2 exalts is like 26 regals (standard) @HabiaUnaVez_Truz or leave a PM if im offline

A huge percentage of players never ever do anything with their Exalted orbs but trade them away. This tends to accumulate among the wealthiest, longest-playing, 00.01%. Also, having a 300ex character or 100ex of currency doesn't mean you once had 400 exalts. There's probably an order of magnitude less currency in PoE than would be needed for everyone to trade all their junk at once.
It doesn't take as many players (or bots) as you think to make all the currency available in PoE, especially Standard where it has had quite a while to accumulate and trickle up into the hands of the super wealthy. Last edited by KG31459#1353 on Feb 10, 2014, 11:41:25 AM

I've played an average of 2-3 hours a day... Since closed beta.
I tend to find the following... Exalted: 1 every 1-2 months Divine: 1 every 3 months GCP: Used to be one per week, now it is one per 3 weeks Blessed: 1-2 per week Regal: 1-2 per week Regret: 1 every 2 days Chaos: 2-3 per hour Alch: 2-3 perhour Fusing: 2-3 per hour Chance: this one changes way too much to figure out. Sometimes I drop 8 in an hour, sometimes I dont see one for 2 days. |

i find them occassionally, more often than exalts for sure.
but you can't craft with them. the first time that you use a regal and get +10% light radius or some bullshit affix you'll understand that there's no such thing as crafting. because you'lll be down 1 very rare regal orb and have a crap rare to show for it. so regal's are currency just like chaos and exalts are currency. well, not entirely true. i _have_ been successful crafting flasks with alts, but you can burn through a _lot_ of alts if you are trying to make something specific. |
