Resolute technique spark/minion build, viable or no?

I wanted to make a mace/shield lightning strike build just like most other templars, but why not try something new? So this is a build I came up with, plan to run wand/shield. Need feedback because I have no clue if this is actually viable.

The general idea is the minions are used for tanking while i blast everything with spark!
