What you are watching is past broadcasts. you will only get a chat box whenever there is a live stream going. When somebody is streaming live, to the right of the stream, you will see a chat box that you can type / talk in. Just as a heads up, this a guild community channel so there is a handful of people that stream different games at different times, but we try and stick to certain time slots. I always try to stream from 10-11pm CST. Feel free to hop on and talk or ask any questions you would like. I will do my best to answer any questions or help you out anyway I can. Depending on your level, I might even have some old gear you can have if it is an upgrade for you. don't know what it is but is seem like Ranger dont do much damage, unsure if its this build or my gear thats crap but im level 30 and i had to kite Oak around for ages in Act 2.
I have a nice bow waiting for me at lvl 32 but untill then i feel darn usless when i see Marauders and Shadows thats 5+ levels below me have twice the DPS. =/ |

Kowz, i think your lvl 64 build should look more like this instead:
going for troll's blood and unwavering stance was bad. not getting a few resist nodes (about 30% all resistances worth) was bad, and no alchemy passive and no mind drinker passive is also bad, especially since you're trying to get good crit chance and those are on the way to the better crit nodes anyways. also, getting good health is only beneficial up to a certain point, and then it will really start to depend entirely on your resistances, flasks, and armor much more so than health. at level 64, your gear should give you 1700+ hp, and if you think you need more than that, it's b/c your resists and armor and kiting is lacking. when i kite with my level 62 ranger, i have about 4 of these flasks: and one of these flasks:. with the alchemy perk it really lets me kite as horribly as i please (most of the time you just need to move a little, shoot rain of arrows, rinse, repeat) using split arrows is also less effective compared to rain of arrows. i've tested it extensively and it worries me that you think split is actually more viable for merciless difficulty compared to RoA. When RoA is levelled up to around 14-17, it has a humongous radius that's similar to that of the weakness to projectiles curse. i don't even want to get started on the life regen totem stuff. i heard that a totem with an aura will cost the same as having the aura on yourself, but w/e. it just sounds like more hassle than is really worth it. anyways, those are just my opinions. gl, and gratz on reaching 64 so early into the game's release. Since you all have mana problems, should I get mana from the normal bandit quest?

" i feel the same, im lvl 59 and i simply don't do enough damage (and i don't tank and don't resist - simply put, i keep dieing). dunno what i'm doing wrong but still...stuck on act 2 merciless for now, unable to advance alone. |

Nice to see another physical ranger build. I'm 67 right now (no maps yet) and am in a pretty good place I think. I focus on Frenzy for singles (7 frenzy charges) and use split arrow with projectile weakness for everything else.
One big difference though is I really love the Iron Grip passive. Each point of STR gives 1.2-1.5 HP (which works great as you take more HP% nodes) and physical damage. Running grace + determination auras for armor boost but tend to switch determ for haste when I'm not too worried about dying. Goal is to have them all running with a little bit more mana. I feel elemental ranger would be sitting on higher DPS from what I've heard but I kill mobs pretty quick and do a good chunk of DPS in groups. Generally happy playing a physical ranger. Build:

My build is quite similar and it works good, I think(lvl 74 atm): The strategy of course is different. I'm stacking the Frenzy up to 7 an use it only for single mobs. For larger groups I spam the Lighning Arrow with Multiple Projectiles, Fork and Added Cold Damage (holding the frenzies up to 7). In addition to this, I skilled the Piercing Projectiles. If I will get a 5-L-item, I will use the Piercing gem or the Chain gem in addition. The listed dps of Lighning Arrow, of course is very small but the Impact is like an cascade, sometimes moving up to two screens wide and the mobs blast each other. It can also reach mobs out of the line of side, beneath doors in dungeons maybe. The Lighning nodes I testet in the meanwhile are to weak and I think not necessary. The accuracy nodes are only gear-dependend and will be removed in the future. Depending on the situation I use one of the following curses: Projectile Weakness / Temporal Chains / Enfeeble Mana is no problem, I have 5% manaleech and 6% liveleech (which makes tanking in large groups possible in most situations), but it still works with 3%/3%. I'm going the physical route so far and having a blast with it! I keep seeing people reference 7 Frenzy charges though, which is confusing me. Frenzy has 3 charges by default and with the 3 nodes you can get another 3. Where is this 7th Frenzy charge coming from? Is this an item or something?
