Try using totems against them.
It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth -
playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp.
They only hurt when you stand in them as they blow. IMO, EV characters belong in motion.

Also, Granite Flask w/ +% increased Armor, Endurance charges, IC. These are all "things".

But yeah, they can be painful, especially in packs, with faster casting and Added Fire damage or "Allies Deal Substantially More Physical Damage" (one of my personal favorites to hate).

Actually this is just me being salty. They're some of the more strategically involving fights in the game, even though they are occasionally bullshit, and I wouldn't give that up for the world. Maybe a tiiiiny damage nerf, or a bit more time to see the outline before it blows.

This I can get behind. I really love the fights, but think the damage could be toned down just a touch. Maybe allow for a reduction in damage when they are "stacked" by multiple casters. I find that what puts the most hurt on is when you take three or four all at once, as there is no way to see how many "stacks" have been laid down, and if you stand still for long enough then all casters in range will have one "brewing".

Perhaps a cooldown on the spell, I dunno.
I don't think they should be able to use it with the bubble active.
