I agree it should be fixed. Or at least get a GGG member to take it off for you. Not sure if you'll have any more luck with emailing support directly instead of posting here. But the support team is very nice and I hope they'll work it out for you. Good luck!

I've had the same problem and support refuse to assist. I'm not sure whether it's because they don't have the ability or just won't do it but the data for the two items must exist in a table somewhere such that they could be restored. Very disappointing to see that it was reported here over a year ago and hasn't been fixed. Fixing a microtransaction that effectively destroys two valuable items should have a fairly high priority!

There is also still a graphical bug skin when transferring a Demigod's Triumph onto another item as per http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/971199, but this is minor in comparison...

Bump - please fix this issue for 2.0! Disheartening to see GGG seemingly indifferent to fixing a bug where microtransactions are ruining two items.

Really looking for some feedback from GGG on this getting fixed - I'd like to use the item I transferred for a build.

The ones with a demigod are the ones who put in shitload of effort to get it, also we are talking about a simple(?) request from extreme supporters.

Has alt art starkonjas skinned on it. This bug is still not fixed. I've emailed support many times about it, but after seeing it's been around for so long; I begin to lose hope.
