How is my spectral throw so weak?!

I know my chest is really bad but I wanted a 5 link. I can't understand why my spectral throw damage is only like 1600. With Hatred It's barely 2k.

My Double strike only does about 9k DPS as well...

Can anyone give me tips on how to increase my dps? Unfortunately I only have 2 respec points left lol. Gear tips maybe? IDK!!! D:

hmm strange I already did that, it must not have updated.

My spectral throw dps is WITH the 20% weapon upgrade :(

The reason is in th mechanics.

Your build is very poor, I've improved it for you:

Passive Tree

Gives you way, wayyyy more damage and more life. You'll have a little bit less armor but the increased life makes up for it and really with these low values you're going to be relying on Granite flasks anyway. I saw you going for Iron Reflexes but you aren't even running Grace so kind of a waste of points.

Further your gems aren't even leveled properly nor have much in terms of quality. There's a good amount of DPS to collect here.

changed your build a bit

you lost 39% projectile damage and 20% projectile speed

and gained 118% axe damage and 30% armour

respecced 11points from your tree.


or do what the guy above me said.. i didnt look up your gems and tought you were using grace.

You wasted 11 skill points getting ballistic mastery and a couple of projectile nodes.
Projectile speed really isn't that great.

Here's a modified tree


Ok so what I did was remove all the nodes up to ballistic mastery/projectile damage. I picked up Wrecking Ball, Diamond Flesh, +30 Dex node(from the loss of dex). I also replaced the Steel Skin armor nodes with Executioner.
You gain about 63% increased physical damage, 15% attack speed, and 12% all res. But you'll lose like 39% projectile damage and 40 dex.
There's 4 points leftover so you could either pick up more life nodes, get the projectile nodes near duelist, get lava lash, or head up to templar 2H and hp nodes.

As for your gear. I have no idea why you have a chain belt. Switch to a rustic sash asap. Try to get flat physical damage on your jewelery and your gloves if you can.

Replace Haste with Grace.
Try Weapon Elemental Damage instead of Faster Attacks and play around for a bit. If it doesn't seem better to you then switch back.

NSA care to explaing why he should use 5 points to get wrecking ball? 4of those dont work with spectral throw.
