Anyways I too like the item a lot. A great part about it is its low attribute requirement, allowing you to get pretty much any socket color combination you'd want without too much trouble.

I also think that it is a great unique. It's a cheap placeholder for Shavronne's Wrappings that allows you to play builds that are unplayable without it. And if you ever find shavronnes you can easily replace solaris lorica.

To get six sockets, the item level must be 50+.

Outstanding unqiue- hope this is a sign of things to come. on my wishlist for other welfare uniques:


-A chestpiece with a large block bonus(BoR substitute for builds that need block chance from gear and need their ammulet slot for something else)

-A substitue for the increased shock duration on Thunderfist(something that will allow shock focussed builds to reliably stick shocks even to bosses)

-A cheaper shield/helm alternative to Prism Guardian+Alpha's(Some reasonably obtainable items that will make 6-7 auras possible to enable aura-spec)


Of course each with sufficient downsides to make them vastly weaker then the unique they fill in for. They just need to provide the core effects to make these builds work- any negative affixes on them are an acceptable price.

You know rarity is just a facet of the value of something, the main value of something if people actually want to use it to not.

Apparently after people QQ how build enabling items and how it's unfair and expensive, they forgot that a majority of them weren't interested in making a low-life build anyway ;v
