NPC Vendor refresh?

Hello, does anyone know how often or when the NPC vendors refresh the items they sell?

Also, does it happen less often for characters you are not playing?

it's just from level up..

every day or when you gain a level. cant confirm this but thats what most people say.

yea it's not every day, maybe once a week or something?

when the server resets, for a patch or whatnot.

When you level up or a patch alters/adds to the base items, which causes a reshuffle.

Most important what I think you have to keep in mind about vendors.

Cruel can have 5Links
Merciless can have 6Links

Yes since Act3 complition(?) act 3 normal can also have 5 links. Not sure but it has to do with the lvl range i believe right now.

So get as fast as you can to merciless to get as many possible chances of vendors rolling you a 5/6 link for free.
