PvP Templar Viable?

I dont know much about this game yet but i know im interested in the PvP viability of Templars, are there any really strong pvp builds or could there be? If so what paths would be best any why? Are Templars better suited to the pve side of the game (as ive seen they are very strong)?

Are Templars a good pick for pvp?
