Regarding Chromatic orbs

Ok. First of all hello, now to the question:

What's the chance approximatly to get a green socket on a str-int item using chromatic orbs?

Im trying to get two green ones and I've used about 65 chromatic orbs so far without luck, the maximum I get is one green socket.

The str-int item im using chromatic orbs on has 4 sockets linked.

any info/tips greatly appriciated, thanks.
Much easier to work off something with the colors you already need imo when dealing with that. I've personally had zero luck with getting colors I need when it involved a stat not featured on defensive pieces.

This is if you can find colors and correctly linked sockets.

It doesn't matter what the item is actually. Chromatic orbs work randomly and it appears to me you're just having bad luck. I may be wrong.. This is just from what I've gathered while playing.

It's definitely not random. A Pure Armor piece is going to give you a red gem slot more often than not.
depending on your level i wouldnt waste too many chroms...just look for other gear.

But, in terms of what you want for crafting..if you DO find that one awesome peace you MUST craft to your liking..chroms are the best to use.

Example...you want a 5L chest with specific color gem slots.
It is best to find a 5L chest then use a ton of chroms on it. It is MUCH harder and MUCH more expensive trying to get 5L with orbs of fusing or get 5 sockets with jewel orbs.

But, if I remember to answer your question directly I think if it doesnt have your color stat you have 1/3 the chance as you would if it did have the stat.

Armor pieces roll Red more, Evasion pieces roll Green more, Energy shield pieces roll blue more.

Ahh, okay. I'm sure it's not impossible to get two green sockets on a str-int piece though.
I'd be interested to know if the algorithm has been derived for how this works.

Should be simple enough to do by burning a large number of chroms on various armour types, and analysing the results.
