how to reset act 1 boss

i looked all over the forum and even googled it nothing works can someone please tell me how to reset the act 1 boss?

Merveil's Lair is part of the Cavern of Wrath. The easiest way to farm her (assuming that's what you're trying to do) is thus:

1. Waypoint to Cavern of Anger
2. run all the way to the door to Cavern of Wrath
3. BEFORE entering the Cavern of Wrath, drop a portal
4. Run through Cavern of Wrath, kill Merveil, take the waypoint in Southern Forest to Lioneye's Watch
5. Take your portal to Cavern of Anger
6. Go back to step 3 and repeat (don't forget to ctrl+click the door to Cavern of Wrath to get a new instance)

Enter the caverns, run to the exit of that instance, leave a town portal before that exit.

Then go and kill the act1 boss, leave the room and use the waypoint in act 2 and travel to the town in act1.

Use your town portal, make a new one, press CTRL + door of instance and create a new instance.

Proceed in doing boss-runs.

Make sure you go back to Lioneyes act 1 and not the Forest Encampment. I usually put my portal in the Cavern of Wrath and after killing Merveil, I step back into the Cavern of Anger and then reset the instance. Sometimes I will run back through the WOA and pick up the blues and sell them unidentified so I can turn them into transmutes. I will then sell those those to replenish my ID scrolls.

quick note : if you take to long your instance might have reset, meaning your tp will be gone.

I think the current maximum instance time is 15 min.

I had thought it was 8-15 min depending on how many areas it connects to, but I'm pretty sure my slums were 30 min.
anyway, if you take too long it resets.
