Ground Slam -- Anyone use this endgame?

the down side is you cant use multi strike, which means , you lose one of the larger damage scaler gems. makes salty a sad panda

Groundslam is used in permastun mace builds. It's extremely effective.

@hissnail

If you use crit you won't be able to permastun bosses at all. Missing at all is unreliable. You'd also want to use a 2 hand build if focusing on stun.

I don't mind not being able to permastun, I'm just using stun to gain Endurance charges to maintain perma Immortal Call. My crowd control will probably be a combination of stun and freeze, since I will freeze mobs when I crit them while running Hatred.

Are you sure about this? From my own tests and what others have said, it seems Ground Slam works with Multistrike.

Wrong. Gslam does work with multistrike.

Now to the OP.

I use GSlam as my AoE and works wonder with - multistrike-faster attacks-IIR-addedmeleedmg supports (haven't 6linked my mace).

I still manage to kill things real quick and I can solo 76+ maps (even with tough mods).

I'm at level 87 now; could be much higher but I just don't have too much time to play (family, bills to pay, etc).

This is my mace (decided to not Marohi as I use HS as my main)

Spoiler

Gslam works just fine towards end game. Also notice I have an IIR suport gem; if I add something like added fire damage, I'd kill much faster.

I run with determination and Hatred auras. My GSLam DPS is around 14k

Hope this helped.

no, no not the damage part , i mean the stun part .

if you want to actually stun the high hp mobs of the high level maps and high hp mods , you cannot use multi strike.

i dont actually mean you physically cant use multistrike ,

i mean that if you go stun build which is what hammers builds are supposed to do multistrike is a hindrance.

that is the whole point having the worst dps nodes of the three melee weapons.

i can do 17k multistrike ground slams , but the stuns stop happening as frequently once the higher levels start.

44+k groundslam fully buffed, 6.6 k hp, 77 all res, shit loads of stun, 4.86 ias per sek (and thats with marohi), facerolling 78 maps, bosses, exiles u name it. Tanking like a bawz and doing dips. I am Godlikeswag and here is my gear. Enjoy.

Spoiler

Ps. Groundslam is shit-loads of fun end game dont listen to anybody else telling u otherwise. Specially if they cant even hit 20 k with no auras.

Peace.

Edit: 44k is in a group with high lvl´s of auras 18-20 auras. When my friend joins party i go from 44k to 49.5 k groundslam and almost 5 ias per sek cuz he is a aura based ranger who does shit loads more dips then me. Just for the record.
Still sane exile?

5 ias per sek

ias = increased attack speed. Increased attack speed per second would mean your attacks speed up as you attack.

You surely mean aps, which is attacks per second. But then you'd be saying 5 attacks per second per second, which is also wrong.
Many lewt.
Much desync.
Such rewarding.
Wow.
According to forum mods "sandwich" is considered an offensive word. Who knew?
