2 support gems of the same kind

If i socket items with 2 support gems of the same kind, let's see Rise Zombies + minion health + minion health...Do both of them work granting 60% minion health ?...I don't want to use the minion dmg rune as for now my minions are so squishy that it's hard to fight bosses that deal aoe without any corpses around...they die so fast that it's hard to keep them alive with corpses around....not to talk about the situation were there are no corpses around.

then how can i get my minions to get more life beside the obvious life nodes...in a fight without corpses how do i fight ?

But do they stack if you use 2 Different levels of the same Support gem?
During the beta you could summon 6 Minions with the use of 2 Raise Zombie gems, if they were of a different level. I don't know if they've fixed that since I last played. | |

The highest level support gem in a group is picked when the skill is used. Having multiple instances of the same support equipped in a group does allow you to level up multiple copies of that gem at once, but doesn’t provide extra power to the skill. | |

great then there is no way in hell my zombies will be in enough shape to fight a boss.

I got to level 27 as witch summoner after hours of playing i quit because once you get to act
3 your zombies die in 1 shot i had minion life and dmg and all the nodes i could at that level it wasnt fun resummoning 24/7 and getting no where | |

I guess minnion instability closes the gap at some point...because your skellis might do some dmg when they die.
