Romancable NPCS?

Since IT proved to be such a great success in dragon age 2 I think POE should have this. It would fit naturally into the game's play play style and be completely optional.

There could be a gifting system were you can increase your affection level with them by giving them chocolates and flowers that drop off rare enemies.

It would provide a new form of end game and let us further customize our characters. For instance some people can have a gay Templar.

What's wrong with just going templar, sitting in town, and hitting on every witch you see in chat?

Its about the role playing experience.

My templar was exiled because his wife caught him with the altar boy.

It does sound a little cheesy if you ask me. D:

I don't know if this would be a good or a bad idea. However, in my opinion it does not fit well with what I have seen of the game. I just can't see the romance in such a dark game. But that may just be me.

This romance option seems like one-level-too-deep for this game. This isn't the game's focus at all. Notice that dragon age II was a single player game with heavily developed characters and plot.
