A few questions about totems
|
1. So does the ranged totem needs accuracy or it always hits?
I thinking of making double totem, ranged totems, with lighting arrow, and using this bow here: http://prntscr.com/qfjfj 2. So what this bow does is to get maximum attack speed and cuts all the damag by half, right? This will apply to the ranged totems? 3. When I connect casting speed support gem to spell totem does the casting speed applies only for the casting speed that the totem will have casting the spell it's connected to or it also applies to the casting speed the charactier will have when casting the totem? |

1) It has the same accuracy that you do
2) Yes the bow applies to your totems 3) Both casting speeds are increased. You place totems faster, and those totems cast spells faster. Hardcore 4 life!

Well thank you sure, your answer was magnificent!
1. So about that bow it does half the dmg of all sources, elemental and physycal, and why is 100% the maximum atack speed, I don't get it? 2. So that power siphon skill has damage effectivness of 125%, if I have 100 cold dmg in my amulet/rings it will turn into 125 cold dmg, right? So the difference between power siphon with LMP and chain would be that the lighting arrow would have damage effectiveness of 70%, but if there are 3 mobs who are near one each other the 3 arrows will will hit the targets 3x3x2 = 18 times with effectiveness of 70%, while the siphon would hit them 3x2 times = 6 times, but with effectiveness of 125%. And if the mobs were away from each other the lighting arrow AOE wouldn't have worked so tit would have hit the 3 targets just 2 times, 3x2 = 6, same as power siphon, but with alot less dmg, is that correct? 3. When you use fork an chains does all the chains create forks? So you fire up aprojectile, it hits a target and creates 2 forks, then the projectile bounced to another enemy and when it hits him makes 2 more forks and then bounces up again and on the last hit it creates 2 more forks, is it like that? 4. What does Projectile Speed boosts? I know that it bossts cold... watever, that spell that the futher it goes the less damage it does, so with projectile speed it goes futher and the bigger damage reaches longer, but how does other spells enefit fro mit, for example that lighting strike spell, where you hit with a melee weapon and do 3 projectiles? 5. This sword here: http://prntscr.com/qgaz5 If you have CI, so you are always on full life, and you use it with lighting strike the projectiles from thelighting strike will have doubled the elemental damage you add to it from amulets/rings etc, right? So if I use two of these swords will my damage effectiveness be 300%, 100(default)+100(one sword)+100(the other one)? Or the increased damage works only for gems that are on the sword itself, so I can get that boost only on 1 gem with 2 supports? 6. How much elemental damage can you get from equipment? Like rings, amulets etc? And from what can you get elemental damage, which slots? 7. This sword here: http://prntscr.com/qgb5h WTF is that, it's one handed but it uses both hands, so you can not dual wield, neither you can use shield, right? It has 300% increased physical dmg, so that's awesome, you can use AOE spell like cleave - something that you can't do with Facebreakers. But with facebreakers the % is 1000%, so the difference is alot, the facebreakers do 3 times more dmg. What would that sword be used for? And not only that but facebreaker has 1000% MORE damage, so all the passives stack, while the sword has just 300% increase damage, so it will be added to the passives. 8. What is your opinion, will it work a double totem build with explosive arrow with these passives: http://bit.ly/10Y6wKP

9. I don't get how exactly does explosive arrow works - if I place the spell on a ranged totem and it firex arrow after arrow when will the explosive detonate, never? Because if I understood correctly as long as you fire more arrows the counter refreshes and the epxlosive doesnt blow up.
NO ONE CAN ANSWER ANY OF MY QUESTIONS? SRSLY? |

Why do you expect to post a question and get an immediate answer? In a period smaller than 12 hours you bumped your thread four times, and the fourth time you also go caps lock mode.
Now, after that patronizing insight; lets get over the issues and move on to answering your questions. I hope this helps. 1. Quill Rain is a unique bow, it is good for very specific builds such as Explosive Arrow based ones. For a standard Elemental build though, Quill Rain first doubles your damage (+100% attack speed basically doubles your damage), then halves it (50% less damage on top). So while it is fun, and makes Life Gain on Hit more viable (basically doubling its potential), it is easily outclassed DPS wise by practically any elemental bow. 2. That whole paragraph is correct, I think. 3. A projectile that pierces cannot fork, a projectile that has both Chain and Fork effects will first Fork into two, then Chain each of the two new projectiles. It is the order of priority the game checks, Pierce>Fork>Chain. 4. Yes, Projectile Speed works wonders on Freezing Pulse. Other than that it doesn't really have much uses, really. 5. It says 100% damage increased on Low Life. Low Life means having 35% HP. Taking CI means your maximum HP becomes 1, which is 100%. Therefore, Low Life mods and CI cannot work together. 6. How much? Well, you can get an integer of all three kinds on each item, elemental damage %, and each kind of elemental %. The craziest possible setup would be to have all three integers maxed, ele dmg % maxed, and lastly lightning damage % and cold damage %. If you want any exact numbers, check the list of prefixes and suffixes. 7. That sword is just a troll item, really. You cannot use it for anything. The 300% damage increase applies only to its damage, which is already calculated within its damage tooltip, so damage wise, that sword gives exactly 12-55 physical, 3-7 elemental and 1.86 aps. 8. Double totem with explosive arrows cannot work, therefore no. 9. Follow up on No. 8, I guess? Basically yes you are right, and that's why the answer to No. 8 is "no". EDIT: Major necro! I got to this post randomly; and thought it was January. Well, welcome to reality, it is February. LOL Life is tough... but it is tougher if you're stupid.
