5-6 Socketed/Linked Armor & Weapons - RARE OR NOT?
" I've been playing for a year and I'm still yet to "find" a 6 link item. Price varies greatly depending on base item type, ilevel (not required level), and its mods (if not white). I have crafted a few. My recommendation is, that if you find a nice piece of equipment that you want to link up, roll jewellers until it is 6 sockets (don't stop at 5, even if you only want a 5 link), and when you roll the fusing orbs to link it, aim for 5L, if you get 6L thank RNGesus. Actually aiming for 6L can be very infuriating and expensive. But you can get lucky, my last 6 link only took 3 fusings. Many lewt. Much desync. Such rewarding. Wow. " On behalf 9999999999% of us who don't have a direct line to RNGesus Screw You!!!! LOL Too the advice here is solid. I plan most of my builds around 5 linked gear and if I can get a 6 linked gear it makes it all the sweeter. But NEVER (I've done it) roll you 5 linked gear without something to fall back on or you'll be farming low level areas hoping to find fusings. " At that point, it really varies a lot depending on the base item type and rarity as well as the stats on it. At the very least, they will sell to npc vendors for a divine, so that's the lower limit for their price. Good uniques or rares with a high level base item type and good stats could go for 50+ exalts, probably even more on standard. |

I found in the last 1 week race 2 six linked , some low lvl 2h Axes, and many 6 Socket items. and it is not that hard to roll a 5link on a 6s Item ;) but 6l is still hard to get with rolling but they can drop

If you find a 6L, be it on a vendor or drop, I would suggest saving it if it is high enough ilevel to craft (60+ I'd say). Scour it (assuming the stats aren't what you want) and craft away.
If it's of low /ilevel, sell it. Also, go buy a lottery ticket. i've been playing since closed beta and I've never found a 6L. |
