Need a cheap Graphics Card for work.

So at home I have a great gaming computer but at work I have this basic computer.

"
Operating System: Windows Vista? Enterprise (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1
System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
System Model: HP xw4600 Workstation
BIOS: Default System BIOS
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8300 @ 2.83GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 3566MB RAM
Page File: 1421MB used, 5898MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 10
Card name: NVIDIA Quadro FX 370
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: Quadro FX 370

Now i'm pretty sure all I need to do is getting a cheap graphics card in order for this machine to run Path of Exile. Anyone have any suggestions?

Gl & HF may the rng gods be with you.
You're going to want to post your full computer specs along with your power supply and motherboard so we can tell what gpu is compatible with your PC. Also, try going to technical support.
See you, Space Cowboy...
cheapest card in nvidias 600 series? I think that would be the 650, incredible performance for the price, not sure what you are looking for though.

I'm pretty sure gtx 650 can also run crysis 3. Maybe not at super high oh my god level, but probably not at very low also.

Sorry the off-topic.
Just because a GPU can run a game doesn't mean it makes up for the lacking CPU. He needs a card that won't be bottlenecked by the system.
Yes good sir, I enjoy slaying mythical creatures.

I believe his CPU should be fine since my brother is playing PoE with a very similar machine.

*Choke*

You are aware that the 640 isn't a keplar, correct? A 640 is a GT 540 that was re-branded to take advantage of the fact that keplar architecture was going to be the next big thing.

Heck, 640's don't even have GDDR5 RAM, they use DDR3.

Calling their performance "incredible" - even with the qualifier of price - would be misleading at best.

There are plenty of cards at the $100 range that are designed for gaming (IE. use GDDR5 memory, and aren't meant for HD playback and video encoding).
put a gtx 260 in it, bulky card, but will run poe. You can get them used or new for about 30-50$
