Vaals Triangular Key

I am at the Dark Alter, and spoke with the NPC in town. I completed the bandit quest already killing 2 of them and sparing 1. None of them dropped the apex key for the dark alter. I double checked my stash as well.
Any idea on what to do? |

Did you speak to the bandit you chose to spare after killing the other two? If not, it is that bandit who gives you the Apex (the key for the Dark Alter) so you need to go talk to them again.

you should be able to talk to The one you Spared. Talk to him/her & there should be a option wich allows you to take the Quest Reward. The Quest reward should be the key.

The quest menu / world map will tell you what to do.

This is why we should have a seperate inventory tab that holds all of our quest items. Right now I'm in act 3 with two huge quest items that are stuck in my inventory unable to even move them to the stash. Terrible design choice, the only problem I see with this game.
