Skill gem stacking

Do certain skill gems stack damage?
Example: 2 ground slam gems deal twice the damage (depending on each gem's level of course).

Nope. Each skill gem is an individual skill. Equipping two simply means you have two of the same skill.

Nah. Each one is independent of the other. You can't equip multiples of the same skill gem to increase its power. You would need to level up the gem or attach support gems to it.
Although you could have two versions of the skill on your person at once, with each one hooked up to different supports, if you wanted to.
But you'd have to bind it to two different keys. I think they'd have to be different level also, or the game thinks its the same skill. Not sure if that was changed.

awesome! so i can have a weak version of a spell AND a buffed out version? cool. may come in handy with a wacky build someday.
