Does Haste or Hatred give better DPS overall?
" Yeah, vitality could be buffed close to 2% at lvl 20, atm it's as good as one of the 1.5% nodes so it feel underwhelming. Sure, it's good for a summonner because it affect more people but that doesn't mean it's not underpowered, I mean...what about stronger auras with a summoner? so that's no excuse. As for haste, the dps increase is horrible! whatever the build...It should at least be changed to "more" instead of "increased". That or make it 40% mana reserved. Tech guy

Well I solved my dilemma... spent a couple exalts on a very nice tri-res belt, ditched Purity, and now I can run both haste and hatred :)
almost up to 30k dps and the 50%+ run speed increase (30% move on my boots + buffed haste) is VERY nice for clearing maps The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard The 82nd character to hit Delve 1000 in Standard Last edited by tackle70#1293 on Jan 2, 2014, 10:12:46 AM

One of my constant dilemmas in this game is whether to run Wrath/Grace/Haste or Hatred/Anger.
I'm a LA evasion ranger with LGOH, and Haste just gives me a nice boost to survivability. I shoot faster, leaving less gaps--especially when I get stunned--for damage to do me in. If I take off Haste and put Hatred, I can kill things faster, but I don't feel as safe. Maybe once I get a Lioneye's the difference due to the bow's attack speed will make up for it, and I can run an attack aura instead. Also, there's a definite difference when it comes to casting things like totems. Just makes play a lot more fluid for me. |

The attack speed gained from Haste is pathetic.
16% cast speed is nice, 16% attack speed is meh... |

" to be fair, with the aura passives it is a ~30-32% attack speed increase Honestly I like it more for the move speed right now than anything else The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard

Hatred > Haste.

" Vitality 1,6 regen = really poor aura, there are 1/1,5% regen nodes on the tree. |
