Hoarding cold resistance at this level is a bit absurd and doesn't really explain how to fight her. It's just the age-old "get better gear so that you don't have to figure out how to win" statement.

It's not "get better gear so you don't have to figure out the fight". It's don't be stupid if you know all she does is cold damage. Now for people who just run into her the first time, yeah it sucks because you have no clue she is about to rape you while you are a Popsicle. But once you know the bosses using your head to say "if she does cold dmg maybe i should get cold resist rings from the vendor" is a good idea. I mean that's like saying "the boss keeps killing me when I don't wear any gear... I should be able to win with superior strategy" Noo.. your strategy sucks because you aren't preparing yourself for the fight.

And it's far far from "hoarding" when you only need 2 cold resists Nessa sells that are like 20-25% resist.

The fight is pretty straight forward, she throws ice garbage at you and if you get hit there is a damn good chance she is going to freeze you so resist it or pray you can dodge well enough. If you feel like playing it safe, you abuse the horrid AI and sit behind the wall. Of course the easiest way to kill her is get cold resist and join a group and gang bang her.

With all that being said, she did rape my face the first time I fought her. My first death was actually to Hailrake though. Insta frozen from off the screen and had no clue what was going on.
