How much Dex/Str/Int should I aim for?

How much Dex/Str/Int should I aim for to maximize access to items?

After looking at the weapons list under the items section of the site, it appears that there are weapon options regardless of the path I choose. For example, Rapiers only require Dex, so I don't have to worry about other stats.

What I'm really concerned about is access to armors. Armor numbers are all over the place, and I'm not sure what I'm going to land on in the end.

Is there a rough number of what stats I should aim for to optimize access to armors? Even more specifically, I'm worried about my Intelligence value. Strength and Dex should be fine. Should I go out of my way for Int so that I can equip better armor?

It really all depends on your build.

If you go for a Blood Magic build, you don't need int as you won't have any mana.
If you want to use rapiers, dex, if axes for example, str.

However, all this falls into nothing compared to the actual nodes you can get on your way to key nodes on the skill "tree". The best armors require something like 200 of stat of its class, so dex for evasion armor, str for plate etc. So as long as you have around 200 you'll be fine for your armor and weapons, but you don't have to get that purely from the passives, there are many pieces of gear like amulets with +30 to all attributes to fix your requirements for gear.

Generally it's better to get enough for your gear requirements and then focus on other passive nodes, because they grant more effect. 10 dex, even though it scales, doesn't scale nearly as much as a 10% evasion node would for example, and there are many more, better nodes too, making it inefficient to spend points on stats beyond what's required for gear.

The stat nodes serve mostly as a "highway" to key nodes.
