Another burning damage calculation

Lets say
X= 12377 base fire damage
Y= 80% burning damage
Z= 117% increased fire damage from passives and gears

So, burning damage is;

[X*0,2*4*((100+Y)/100)]*((100+Z)/100)
= (12377*0,2*4*1,8)*(2,17)
= 38676

and total damage is 12377 + 38676 = 51052

is this correct?

no:

all increased multipliers are toghether:

so your equation should be:

x*0.2*4*(1+y/100+z/100)

or 12377*0.8*(1+0.8+1.17)= 29407

29407+12377= 41700 (over 4secs)

thanks man.

So with that calculation, rf build much more better than my ea build :)

RF is 'more spell damage', not 'increased spell damage'.

Increased is additive with other bonuses, more is multiplicative.
