Stuck at "Contacting Server..." when trying to login

I don't get it, what happened, all of a sudden I couldn't log into the game.

I was already able to play for a while, then exited, then when I tried to get back into it, it's stuck at that point now.

???

This happens for all three servers: Singapore, America, Europe.

I don't see anyone else having the same problem though.

weird... I just discovered that if I enter my password (even if it says stored password and remember password is checked) I get logged in.

Either you are new at gaming, or you live under a... yeah I skip the last bit. Or you are trolling.

Just because you are the only one who post this, does not mean you are the only one.
Note that there is also a great deal of people stuck on the installation of the game, and there are people who do not experience any problems.
You might be "lucky" in your case, and connect to server on first try = you have no problems. Or you might be "unlucky" like you and not being able to connect to the server.
I've seen quite few threads like this so it's very likely it's just you being unlucky.
Either you keep try, or you give up and come back in a few days.

What? I've been gaming since the 90s. And ever since the internet was invented, whenever it says "remember password" that means that you don't have to enter it again, genius.

Looks like the servers are overwhelmed. Just spent about 50 minutes reading forums while trying to get past patcher, then trying to get past login. Got to character select twice and get dumped back to login because it can't connect to the instance. Wanted to play a little before bed, but sleep is good instead I suppose.

IS that really just it? I can't play the darn game...
